Bang~

Glitter Words

This blog post is specially put up for Big Bang XD~~
Em, so far, members whom I seem to recognise is TOP, G-Dragon & Dae Sung. I still can't differentiate between Seungri & TaeYang >.<
I have 2 friends who are fans of these 2 fellas but yet I somehow can't tell them apart. The 2 most significant members are TOP! & G-Dragon ^^
How I get to know them?
Answer: I first knew Big Bang through my friends who were such big fans of K-Pop, ie Big Bang, Super Junior, TVXQ, SS501, 2PM, FT Island, Kara, Girls Generation, etc. She was playing Last Farewell in her car one day and I got so addicted to their beat till I kept on asking her to repeat the song over & over. That was how I get involved in Korean songs =.=
So the first Big Bang song I like was Last Farewell.

Few months later, practically everyone I knew was listening to their new hit singles 'Haru Haru' which means Day by Day. Be it on their FB status, MSN song display, ringtones, or their I-pods. At first I was like, 'Eh Big Bang again...what's so special about this song? Everybody's so into it'. Ok, so I was being skeptic about this whole Big Bang phenomena. Only after the Haru Haru phenomena passed, I started You Tubing for that song! Haha~ so slow right? ~
~
~
-and it was super duper fantastic! XD~ One of the best songs ever and I too got so addicted to it, like how I was to Last Farewell. In fact, this was even more addictive than Last Farewell. I'm actually listening to the acoustic version of Haru Haru now as I blog. It was equally awesome as the original version. Plus, I LOVE, I repeat again,
I L-O-V-E
watching their live performances on You Tube. They have the best choreography ever and they've got style man...My eyes were just glued to this screen (btw TOP is fantabulous!) Haha. Now, the 3rd favourite song I like is Gara Gara Go. This is fully in Japanese as they're trying to get into the J-Pop industry too, but according to my friend, apparently Japan's the one who's trying to get them. LOL.

The 2 most recognisable members to me were TOP & G Dragon. TOP is my favourite in the group ^_^ He's the one doing the rapping together with G Dragon. He's also the one who's always wearing a glove on one hand. I like his eyes...kinda like the Robbert Pattinson type of look in my opinion. I've decided not to use the word cool. To me its like so 15-years-old. You know, like high school kids screaming & squealing all the way 'OMG he's so cool!!!'. I don't really fancy that. Kinda makes me look immature by using the word 'cool' to describe my favourite idols. LoL I prefer using more descriptive words rather than simplify it all into one word -cool.

Anyway, enough about the word 'cool' lol. TOP...seems kinda mysterious. Whaddaheck is this guy's real name? Tried to 'bing' for his real name (as mentioned in my previous entries) but failed. G-Dragon however, being the leader of the group, looks kinda 'skimpy' compared to the other boys. Although he's the smallest in the group, his singing+rapping+dancing is nonetheless fantastic! He changes his style like a chameleon. For one moment he's got a punk hair cut and the next, his hair's all bleached like an anime. He's interesting though =)

Yup, and here's a pic of TOP! ~
Ain't he cool? LOL

Matahari Ku

Matahari Ku
by Agnes Monica

Tertutup sudah pintu, pintu hatiku
Yang pernah dibuka waktu hanya untukmu
Kini kau pergi dari hidupku
Kuharus relakanmu walau aku tak mau

Berjuta warna pelangi di dalam hati
Sejenak luluh bergeming menjauh pergi
Tak ada lagi cahaya suci
Semua nada beranjak aku terdiam sepi

Dengarlah matahariku, suara tangisanku
Kubersedih karna panah cinta menusuk jantungku
Ucapkan matahariku puisi tentang hidupku
Tentangku yang tak mampu menaklukkan waktu

I've been watching this Indonesian drama since 2 days ago. It's called Jelita, which literally means something like Cinderella. I love the OST of this drama, called Matahari Ku (My Sun) by Agnes Monica, dubbed the Britney Spears of Indonesia LoL.
The story is almost similar to Cinderella and I don't know why I'm somehow attracted to it. Maybe its the shades wore by the main actor. He looked kinda dazzling with gel & spiked hair together with heavy shades and a charming Mercedes Benz to go along. Ok, it was more of the shades, haha~!
Anyway, I love the lyrics altogether and I've been repeating this song a million times on my SE W595 XD

Dengarlah matahariku, suara tangisanku~~~

This is not the first Indonesian song that I was all crazy over. Other few favourites were namely:-
Menjaga Hati, by Yuvie & Nono
Kenangan Terindah, by Samsons

The 3

Here's a little something about my latest interest in the asian celebrity circle and here's one super duper cute, tall, charming and handsome lad from TVB (HK). Sammul Chan Kin Fung (陈键锋) has been one of my all time favourites. He's got the Wu-Zun type of look, but I still prefer him than WuZun LoL~ His name ends with a Fung, which is the same as Raymond Lam Fung but they are both different 'Fung's as they bring different meanings.
I just felt like blogging about the few of them in this blog and one of the reasons is because I've been watching the TVB series, Emergency Unit these few days and I'm seriously attracted to the few main characters, especially Laughing Gor! ^_^
But anyway, if you're looking out for a cute hunk to spill your drool all over, he's one of the suitable candidates on TV! haha~ plus he's got super cute dimples >_>>
OMFG super cute pretty boy~

~~~~~
2nd pic here is also another guy from the tvb series mentioned earlier (Emergency Unit). Ron Ng Cheuk Hei (吳卓羲) was never my favourite guys in TVB, I just don't know why. Probably it started with The Twin of Brothers where I first fell in love with Lam Fung, which caused me to choose Raymond over Ron XD. Yea, like I had the right to choose! LoL But then when I watched EU, I kinda liked the chemistry he had with this girl whose name I do not know. All I know is that she's the daughter of the big boss. They had this great chemistry where the special moments they shared were so sweet beautiful. This is the first time I see the soft side of Ron and there was this scene in which they both took a photo shoot in the middle of a grassy field and there were sprinklers all around to make the light watering effect. In that scene, they both ran from across the field towards each other. He lifted her up into the air and they were just having a very special moment there. Although that photo shoot was just a pretence to upload those pics to her blog, it was so obvious that there was something going on there. He looked stunning and she was so pretty. =)
Strangely I've never noticed how charming he could be. I've always pictured him as a cold, feelingless, and boring character. Perhaps this impression was brought upon to me since the Twin of Brothers series.
OK, last guy here and his name, well, in the entertainment industry is T.O.P (god knows what it stands for). Thanks to my addictiveness to Korean pop sensation Big Bang's Haru Haru, I kept on replaying their live performance of Haru Haru which I've favourited in You Tube. Each time I watched the video, I notice this guy, especially his eyes. Its like he's got some light eye shadow on or something...and mascara. He's just so well, typical word to use here is cool and I absolutely like his style, plus the amazing choreography they've got.
He's tall, he's perfectly well built, sharp eyes (as I would like to call), and I'm currently trying to Bing out this guy's real name.
>>>
What I've got is that they say TOP is just his onstage name. It's not his initials. You just call him TOP (which god knows what it stood for =.=) So conclusion, this guy's real name remains a mystery, lol.
I like him particularly in this pic. Ok, -I like him a lot in this pic! Mostly its the eyes, the awesome chessboard tux (and that weirdly-twisted-into-fashion bowtie), his hair and wow I've just notice he's got huge ears.
Crazy Little Thing Called Love
0 comments
~poignant portraits of the ties that bind - and sometimes knot~
I just came back from this play called em, as mentioned above, Crazy Little Thing Called Love at the YMCA hall, Ipoh. It was a 2 hour play from 5pm till 7pm and the tickets were FOC. I got to know of this through one my christian friends and she invited us all to the play. There's even an invitation through Facebook! LoL
The play featured The Footstool Players and was organised by the St. Peter's Church Ipoh.
It was a series of sketches that would highlight various issues affecting marriage and family relationships to support marriage enrichment seminars. The play is in two acts. Act 1 deals with love, courtship, and marriage, while Act 2 deals with family relationships. Each act was 55 minutes long and at the end of every sketch there were short snippets of songs played in the background and one of my favourites was Do What You Have To Do by Sarah McLachlan (I'm gonna go download this after I'm done here!)
These were my favourite sketches:-
Be Real
Its about this guy er, Robbert Ooi I think, LOL. He signed up for this speed dating thing and was doing a video recording session of himself (introduction). His guide was being all funny and asking him to pretend to be as good in front of the camera, but in the end the moral of the story was to be your own self and not pretend just so that you can give people the ideal impression of you.
I Love You More
This sketch is about a couple who compares their love with almost everything under the sun and tries to win by competing with each other on who can say the most poetic comparisons! Haha! It was so hilarious and amusing~ There were many phrases and its all about the mountain, the rivers, the entire universe...erm I don't know what else, LOL. It was lovely though.
The Ledger People
In this sketch, the husband and wife keeps track of each other's merits and dimerits in a ledger book. Yes, ledger books used by accounts clerk! Haha~ Because they were too busy adding and subtracting points from each other, they failed to remember what it felt like to be doing things for each other, not for the sake of earning points but because they love each other. =)
Word Picture
This is basically about a married couple whereby the husband was so engrossed in earning to support the family as well as not wanting to feel looked down by the wife. The wife meanwhile feels that the husband is beginning to ignore her and the family and prioritises work over them. There was a long and heated argument which ended with both confessing how they felt towards each other and they reminisced about the past where they were dating, how they enjoyed talking to each other every moment- sharing everything and without boundaries. It was a happy ending after that though =)
~~~~
All sketches above were from Act 1, which was all about love, courtship and marriage. The 2nd act is more on the serious side- less laughter and more arguments, confessions, and sadness.
I didn't really enjoy part 2 as much as part 1 though. The sketch that I could say I've enjoyed most was :-

Billy

It was about a boy and his father. The boy, named Billy thought that his father loves him because of his smartness and all the good things he did. However his dad kept on reminding him that it wasn't because he knew his ABCs or that he drew a good picture of the family, but it was just because he loved him. The big guy who played Billy (Colin Kirton, the creator, producer and director!) was awesomely cute in this sketch! His voice went all squeaky and bubbly, LoL.

It all ended great, with the last and final sketch, The Greatest of These and it was curtains down. Everyone truly enjoyed the play and the audience roared with thunderous claps at the end. The play was AWESOME! Many lessons to be learned and experiences which we would soon encounter later in our lives were depicted in the sketches today.

Many credits to the Footstool Players (all casts and crew members) and the organisers as well!
Well, that is all for my post of the day~
Gotta hop into bed soon.
=)
Good Night.

More Reading

Ok, I've finally finished my Caribbean Cruising (^_^)V
Boy was that a great refreshment!
Ryan, hot hunky hottie, always so caring, always there whenever Lindsay needed help, so very understanding, never too pushing and asking for too much, always helpful and each time you're in a situation, he'll be the one next to you.
It was like going on a cruise with them and truly enjoying every single page of the book.
I liked the people in it, the activities they do- whether planned or unplanned, the places they've been to, partying whole night, dancing, enjoying life, relaxing...haha you get what I mean. I think I'm being too repetitive! LoL
It's all about hot summer romance on a super romantic cruise in the Caribbean~

----------------
Haha...I started this post like about 2 hours ago, and I'm only continuing now!
As I was saying, after a few more posts on books I'm reading, this blog is gonna turn into a book review site, LOL !
Sorry for not being able to put in much here cause I was too busy in MSN, haha
SO, my next book will be Wuthering High, by Cara Lockwood.

SYNOPSIS
Fifteen-year-old Mia is not exactly thrilled when she gets the news that her parents are shipping her off to boarding school. It's not like she did anything that bad -- all she did was wreck her dad's car and max out her step mum's credit cards. So, off she goes, from Chicago to Bard Academy, an exclusive prep school that treats troubled teenagers with a healthy dose of higher learning and old-fashioned discipline. But all is not what it seems at this educational institute, and Mia and her classmates soon discover that the teachers are actually ghosts, stuck in limbo, some of them famous authors who died before their time, including Virginia Woolf, Ernest Hemingway, and Charlotte Bronte. And what's even more disturbing is that not all the ghosts have good intentions. Mia and her friends must stop one evil instructor's plan to bring down the school -- and the entire student body with it.

Ok, that's about it for now...
I'll keep posting on any further updates.
Btw, today my friend just helped me discover I have another 2 dimples!
Haha, which makes it 4!
I have 4 dimples!~~~

Caribbean Cruising

0 comments

Ok, this book was bought under RM20 I think and it was certainly a good read!
Hm lets see when did this book land on my bookshelf...
I think it was around the end of 2006, when I was in Form 4.
Today is the 2nd time I'm reading it and although the story was familiar, I find myself still giggling and smiling to myself at certain parts of the story.

'The perfect summer story of a girl, several boys, and a cruise ship full of possibilities. Lindsay has never been on a cruise, but she knows exactly what she wants to do now that she is: climb a waterfall, snorkel, meet lots of cute guys, and look for one perfect guy for a summer fling. But her to-do list isn't going according to plan, especially when she discovers that it's impossible to have a fling-when you're actually falling in love with the hot hunk appointed to be your 'baby sitter' by stepdad.'

Ok that was the short synopsis I copied from another site. Btw, the cute guy's name is Ryan, which reminds me of my darling friend who dreams of marrying a guy with the name Ryan or at least a Bryan, and it'll be a bonus if he's a spaniard! =.=|| According to her, having the name Ryan is like a must. Haha~

Rachel Hawthorne the author did manage to get me so involved in the plot till I'm nearly halfway through the book today despite its my second time reading it. The book talks about hunky hot guys who can be so nice, super caring and yet able to keep cool about all things going around, including his feelings for the girl; and how things always happen so 'coincidentally' with him and it always seem to turn out into an unexpectedly good outcome; how it all seemed too good to be true and its always the cute guy who ends up with you. You might see this all as a facade to the real world where there is no such thing as the Things-Always-Go-Your-Way Principle.

Besides that, this book also talks about cruising and this means a lot of descriptions on the cruise ship, the ocean, island destinations, outdoor sports like paragliding, hiking, waterfall climbing and shopping! -ok shopping is not a sport, lol.

Anyway this post is just to talk about the book and I think I'm able to complete it tomorrow or by Wednesday at least and after that I think I'll move on to either Wuthering High or erm...I don't know, Dancing Queen perhaps? Or finish up the other book which I've abandoned quite some time ago (also my 2nd time reading) So Super Starry.
Haha, we'll see first. No point planning ahead what to read when I know there's a possibility of me not even reading it later!
Toodles~
