1st Day of CNY

Rise and shine...1st day of CNY =)

Bfast for the day:

Roti planta which taste like anything but planta in it.

The dhal is like water.

 I ordered limau ais...and the guy brought ice lemon tea =.=

Well, no other stalls were open...so we had no choice...

At least my stomach was filled.

My lunch for the day =)

Cauliflower + Vitagen

After lunch, I went over to the shophouse...my uncle's setting up the router there.

FINALLY I HAVE ACCESS TO THE INTERNET.

It may be a half cement, half wooden house, but its got some cool sporty black car, a BMW, a Honda, and erm I forgot the names of the other 2 cars =.=

This is the back part of the shophouse...everything beyond that is already the oil palm estate.

The empty land here used to be planted with loads of banana trees...

Spend the afternoon onlining, preparing the post biz results...hm occasionally going down to the shop to steal some cold drinks XD cause the weather's so freagginnn hot....!

Dinner that night was once again at 9++++pm

I just wanna finish the meal and balik tido =_=

super bored...

Basically all I did for the day was snapping pictures around. LOL

Oh yeah, after dinner...I asked my dad to drop by the jetty at night cause my uncle said there was some CNY display...so I took some pics here...
This is a very very nice place to sit at night...having a sip of beer while chatting with your friends...with the sea breeze blowing...and you're facing the sea =) awesome time to emo when u're all alone also XD

CNY -Reunion Night

 

Started journey back on the 13th of Feb at about 3pm and it was all limestone hills, trees and cars all the way...freaking boring...the way down south was pretty relaxed and easy but the highway going up north was jammed like mad.....I think this jam went on for more than 10km...

  

The weather was so so so hot...not even a cloud in the sky...

 

After the Sepang F1 circuit, we no longer followed the highway, but went into the trunk roads...

and there was another jam for about a kilometer or two...

and we were tailing this car all the way...

 

  

Managed to snap a view of the seaside on one stretch of the road...its high tide now and the seawater level's kinda high...

Finally reached...at about erm...6+ I guess...first thing, must go and find my gma...greet her first...she'll be in her kitchen...doing her stuff...This pic was taken outside her kitchen (a wooden house across the road)

That's the shophouse where we used to stay until a few years back, my gma bought another house nearby...

Went over to the shop to find my 2nd & 3rd uncle...

We call her the Iron Lady aka Margaret Thatcher XD

In Tg. Sepat, its bad news if you've got sweet blood...and if you don't put mosquito repellent and walk around in shorts in the evening especially, you're gonna end up with red dots on your hands and legs...like me =.=

As usual, 'reunion dinner' is at 9+++++ pm. Good enough to replace my supper lol.

This year, like every year, my gma made this stuff called 'shun pun zi' (I call it the red and white blood cell LOL)..3 huge bowls of them infact...together with cauliflower and sotong, duck, er...pigs leg XD and 'gai jau' (wine chicken) =.=

Guess she's getting old...can't make much...its not that there's no one helping her, she just wouldn't let people help her =.=

Oh yea, and the 'dan fa' soup...kinda spicy...she put too much pepper.

Out of all the dishes, I only eat the cauliflower *pathetic!* and the soup of course.

Many years ago, she used to have fried sotong, fried chicken, fish, and a few other dishes...

Oh well....

After dinner, me and my mom went over to the newly built complex across the street...

And this is the most modern place you can find here XD the rest of the parts are mostly wooden structure.. or half wood half cement...the new housing area is fully cemented of course, lol

No McD Drivethru or whatsoever, no KFC, no Pizza, no 7/11, no kopitiam.

This place is kinda busy at night, cause they have a mamak stall there and people come to hang out and watch football XD 

You can say its the new spot in town =)

Sat on a park bench and look at the people passing by...boring right? Cause there's nothing better to do here...

Went back to the new house to sleep at 11+ 

I was sweating in my sleep cause the weather was so freakin hot...! Had to wear long sleeve or else I'll end up with mosquito bites =_=

i'm feeling so tired today...eyes tired, and physically kinda tired overall...haihzzzzz
i just wanna let out a huge huge huge sigh...
studies...gotta pump it up more...
health...gotta take care obviously...weather's gone nuts these days...

had our post biz presentation today....finally we're ending this whole thing which is so time consuming...
honestly, the only thing i learned during the whole period is how to prepare the financial reports...=.=
its not something new, but something i HAVE to know by now, just that this biz project gave me the chance to actually put it into practice. lol

one more thing, i've learned is that its definitely not easy dealing with the outside world...
well, there's nothing much we can learn in these 2 weeks besides how to improve your skills in sales and marketing...which is not really what I'm learning to become =.=
I hate sales, and I definitely hate marketing...cause I know I'm not good at talking and how much marketing can we do in two weeks? Print copies of pamphlets and leavelets and chuck it into all the post boxes of all the offices in Ipoh, saying 'HEY, We're selling pens!' ? We're just some nobody company (its not even a legal company) set up temporarily for 2 weeks, and you expect some miracle marketing?
Basically we're just doing it for the sake of doing it. =.=

I don't think I've benefited much from this, though i did learn a little, but i appreciate the efforts of our lecturers in organising this.
Kinda helps to widen our social network too. Got to know the CAT people more.
And all the presentation session actually made me realize how poor we are in presenting ourselves to the people in the real world. If this is how we're going to react during a job interview when some tricky questions are being thrown to us, then i think i really really really need to improve loads more on my communication skills...>_< cos my brain kinda suck when it comes to having the ability to twist and turn =.=
its as straight as a broomstick.

Also, gotta learn how to handle criticism...(working on it >_<;)
know how to pick it up, and put it back down later...
The blain must twist more... =.=

Anyway I'm glad this whole thing is over and now I can continue with my old routine without having to study halfway and suddenly this worrying thought about the biz came into my brain, and i'll be like grabbing the notebook and calculator, start punching in some figures...bla bla bla...

Anyway, small matter nie, moving on, moving on...loads more important stuff coming along the way...

ACCA strikes...

 Back from Chinese New Year, with a pocketful of angpaus XD 

and what lies ahead right after the CNY break is our results for the December sitting.

 

I was friggin nervous on Sunday night, till I spent the whole night You Tubing on my favourited G Dragon videos till I didn't realise 3 hours had pass. LOL

Also took tons of silly quizzes on Facebook and purposely answered in a way which I would get G-Dragon as the result =.=

I know, its pathetic...haha

But anyways, I got up this morning, went to college- had an hour of F7 class with Ms Liza, despite half the class was empty. Results came out at 1pm+. We rushed back to college from Senses once we got the news.

More blood was pumping to my heart as I kinda waited for more than 20seconds for the page to load. Just staring at the login screen made me feel so nervous...

What if the only 2 words I see suddenly are 'fail' and 'fail'? ? ?

......

But thank god, I passed both papers...and I was really happy with the results ^^

Blogging while 2Day1Night-ing

Yo, haven't been back here in ages...and tomorrow's CNY eve already.
And as usual, I'll have to go back there for a couple of days...to be precise, 4days & 3nights away from civilization. Being away from Facebook, MSN and my friends are nothing but not being able to communicate with the people there is EVERYTHING. You know, like the peribahasa 'bagaikan rusa masuk kampung' =.=
Well, it's only one year once, so I guess that's alright >_<
(So do not look forward to those dishes...the 'red & white blood cell' thingy and the super spicy 'dan fa' soup =.= ) Haihzzz
Will be bringing back some books to accompany me =)

Anyway, yesterday was a super cekaping movie marathon. Watched 2 movies in a row-

 Was it just me or did Wu Zhun look a lot like Capt Jack Sparrow? LOL

Haha, totally loved the whole Johnny Depp-ish image- not to mention the superb leng zhai-ness XD

He does look a bit like Lee Hom here as well.

Hm loads of chinese history involved...interesting though, and the action and the kungfu and the love story...

overall it was a good movie worth watching.

Next up, PERCY JACKSON AND THE LIGHTNING THIEF:

This movie was directed by the director of Harry Potter, so...how can I not watch it right? Haha~ This movie was all about Greek mythology. It's got Mt Olympia, Poseidon, Zeus, Hades, Hermes, Aphrodite, Medusa,  the Hydra, the River Styx and Charon, Centaurs & Satyrs, Minotaurs, Persephone (Hades's wife) and oh yeah, their version of hell rocks...! It was friggin awesome. Love the way they put in all the people from Ancient Greek mythology and the graphics were not too shabby either. 

Plus Percy's super cute with super super deep blue eyes~~~

Both of them were very nice ^_^ But tickets were super expensive cause student cards were not usable due to CNY hols approaching and plus the movies were newly released, so yeah...they were super expensive. But I'm not paying for it, so who cares...XD XD XD
Haha, no, I really appreciate it, lol.

Anyway, it's already 13th Feb now and I'll be going back in about 12-14hrs more....

Will be needing some mosquito repellent...I seriously don't know why are mosquitoes so attracted to my blood =.= I'm always their target.
Will be seeing loads of oil palm estates along the way....boringggg =.=
Will NOT be going online for the next few days.
Will DEFINITELY be bored like hell for the next few days... zzzz
