So Random...

30th Sept...today's the last day of the ninth month- which means, we are once again a step closer towards our exams (feels like it was only ytd that I had stepped foot into Mr. David's class). After that, Christmas tags along and the year draws to an end again. AGAIN~ the whole cycle starts again. Hopefully this Dec sitting will be the 2nd last ACCA exam I'll ever take in my whole entire life.

Lately, I've been thinking - throughout my life going to school and now, college...I've got to know countless of friends. Mostly were nice and clean on the surface, some were pure and genuine on the inside too, and a couple of them were...well, not so very nice. A nice way of putting it is that I was just plain unlucky to have come across them and thanks to them I've learnt a valuable lesson in my life. Thanks to them, I now know that people have many many many layers underneath their skin and with time, each layer unravels itself only to reveal the true colours beneath it. Even then, it is not always easy to notice the multiple layers. Not a very pleasant experience I would say, and no doubt one or two of them definitely left a permanent scar on me. Sometimes, I felt sad, disappointed and hurt when I think back. Sometimes, I felt really angry and it makes me hate that person even more. I won't blame myself because I wasn't aware of all this before. It hurts so much sometimes till I would seriously wish to turn back time so that I could tell myself then, not to choose this path. Only with experience that I can now be a stronger person emotionally and mentally. No doubt, unwanted memories and scars will be there and I don't want this to hinder my progress of building myself a bright future ahead.

There are many types of friends which I've came across. Some appeared to be normal on the outside, but somehow, these people aren't so real after all. When it comes to serious stuff and when it requires them to take up some of the responsibility, these people chicken out. Come on, is it that hard to do something for your friend? Giving lame excuses, trying to avoid the matter, and doing it but not wholeheartedly just proves how much you care for that fellow friend of yours.

Some just want to be friends with you, because there's something there for them to gain. While some are only friends when they have a favour to ask of you, and when you can't help out, they put an immediate full stop there and then. It's so obvious that these people are fakers....and I hate these type of people. But, the world is full of these FAKERS. And I've to learn to live through them all.

I'm not saying everybody's bad. Throughout my life up till now, I've definitely got to know a handful of great friends who are really worth keeping. Some of them go for as long as (counting....) erm, 12 years I would say...and we're still seeing each other up till now. Friends come and go every now and then. I really appreciate friends who are true, honest, and most willing to help in times of need. Even when we don't see each other anymore, they will never hesitate to try to keep in touch. Even a random message asking 'How you've been?' received halfway during class would put a smile on my face, and these people are like a few hundred kilometres away. Even when they enter into the working world, we never stopped contacting each other.

I still remembered clearly what me and my bunch of form 4/5 buddies used to to everyday in school. Though there were rules to follow, duties to perform, and stress (as if there ain't any now =_=), but those were really happy times I had with my friends. They cooked up an April Fool's story which made me almost cry -no wait, I did cry... We called each other stupid names. There were always story telling session every morning when we enter class, lol! One of my artistically talented friend wrote a story about one of us, and it was so touching that I nearly cried reading that T__T
We made our names using glass paint and stuck them onto our calculators. Each of us has one, a different colour. I'm still keeping mine till now.
I had plenty of great memories with a lot of my friends in school, but sadly most of us do not keep in touch anymore.

When I go to college, again I met another bunch of people -totally different from the type of friends I had in school. It was a variety of shades and shapes LOL. I learned a lot and managed to widen my perspective. I was exposed to a more grown-up environment. It was here that I managed to pick up a few good friends and I am indeed very glad to have met them. I really learned a lot. Things would have been different if I were to pick another course or go somewhere else to study.

Friends are plentiful. Any tom dick and harry you meet on the street can be a friend, but true friends are as rare as gems. I ain't too keen on keeping fakers for a friend, but I would love to keep these precious gems for they are indeed worth the keep. The past is past. I shouldn't let it prevent me from moving forward. I'm not the one losing.

2010 Big Show

Wow...I can't believe my eyes are so so so freaking tired now, due to a whole day of staring at the screen, at Big Bang...

HAHAHA~

I didn't have to use a single brain cell to think at all, the whole day lol.

I just finished watching the Big Show 2010, and it was definitely awesome~

How can it not be/? hahaha~

They had old songs, new songs...loads of them...

Lies, Haru Haru, My Heaven, Gara-Gara Go, Stay (nearly typed satay =_=||), Last Farewell, Sunset Glow, Number One, Wonderful, Stylish Fila, etc and of course each of the members did a solo as usual every year. 

GD's solo was of course Heartbreaker =)

At least he's not an ignorant snob on stage...he may be shy sometimes but I guess he's still ok, cause some fan gave him a small banner during the end and he held it a while and continued dancing...later he put it down somewhere. I thought he's left it aside and forgotten about it...but when everything was over, and everybody was walking back to the main stage, I saw him holding the small banner again~
LOL means he went back to pick it up~
I guess most celebs would just leave it to the cleaners to clean it up later on and just forget about that small little ordinary banner

I know its of course absolutely absurd to make him my life long target, hahaha~

But, I'm totally obsessed with him right now...

Viva Alma Mater!

Well, today's a tiring day...

Didn't really sleep well last night...

went to bed at 12+ and I think I fell asleep with an empty stomach at about 2am++

Got up at 7am, so I had about approx. 4-5hrs of sleep =_=||

When I got up this morning, I really regretted wanting to work so fast, cause if I do, I'll have to wake up at this time, every single day- for the rest of my life T__T

Well, for 3 years at least....(I hope)

So anyway, the reason I didn't really sleep well was cause I was pretty excited about going back to school actually. I'm suppose to help Ms. Jen go back to school together with the other course leaders and the marketing staff to help 'promote' Sunway College. XD

So, Ms. Jen picked me up at coll at about 8.05am...reached school at about 8.15am or so? Then Satvin joined us there. Ms. Jen & Ms. Winnie too were ex-convents =)

Ahhh~really miss stepping into school once more~but this time, I was in sneakers, t-shirt, skinny jeans, and my hair was dyed LOL. Three years ago, it was the navy blue skirt, collar shirt, tie and blazer, my school bag, and another bag which people often thinks contains a laptop in it.

All the lecturers gave a short talk about their own respective courses. There was Ms. Chelvi from Biz & Marketing, Mr. Lim doing the IT part, Ms. Jen doing ACCA of course, and another new Malay lecturer doing the Interior Design.

When Ms. Jen and I walked into the upper hall, everybody was like giving those 'who the heck are they?' kinda stares. It was weird, walking in as an ex-student, and looking at all those kecik-mayung kids sitting down on the concrete floor, with their pencil case and lab books next to them. Prefects will be circling the crowd like some 'cage' thing. Then Satvin came in, and everybody was like 'WHO THE HECK IS HE'

LMAO~ but even before we came in, they were not even paying attention to Ms. Chelvi who was speaking at that time. It was so obvious...and kinda memalufy-ing LOL.

Hm, actually my main purpose of being there, is to help Ms. Jen promote ACCA...so she introduced me to the Form 5s. I had to go and say something short for a couple of minutes. Haha~the reason why I couldn't really sleep last night was because I was busy thinking of what I should say to them~LOL

But anyway, I just went on and talked some garbage...hahaha~

When I was in Form 5, they were in Form 2 or 1 I guess, so they probably wouldn't know me. So, I said 'You guys probably wouldn't recognise me, but I'm sure the prefects do-'

Then they were like 'YEAH~~~'

I was kinda glad to receive that response...lol. At least they still remembered me.

Otherwise, everyone will be like 'Er, no one recognises you~~~' and then it's gonna be such an embarrassing moment XD At least they weren't whispering, talking or murmuring while I was giving my crap talk in front, hahaha~

FINALLY~ I kinda got the hang of speaking in front of people in school~ I don't know why but last time, it was as though I've got asthma and I can't breathe each time I try to give a serious speech. I keep on inhaling air, and I forgot to exhale =_=|||

But today was alright though, despite not doing so for such an awfully long time.

Anyway, after the talk, I went around and talked to a few of the prefects...

Though I don't really know them well, and I couldn't remember their names (but I do recognise their faces- most of them that is), it was still fun being able to catch up with the current students.

My school counselor, Pn. Mazyah invited us to join them for a short morning tea at the canteen. Initially I thought of dragging Satvin around the school, but in the end, decided to join them. I forgot to take pictures of the canteen during recess!!!! AishhH~~~

The kacang putih uncle is still there~ and he could still remember me!

Ms. Winnie remembered him too.

The snacks stall uncle's still there, selling his sweets and ice-cream.

I went on to buy my usual noodles from the aunty, and she could still recognise me =)

I used to buy noodles from her store like, EVERY SINGLE DAY last time. LOL.

Was really happy going back to meet all of them, and they can still remember me.

It's not much...but little things like this, brings back lots of good memories...

 This is where we have our daily morning assemblies. Form 3,4 and 5 would line up accordingly and face the prefects' room. 

We, the 4heads ie. Empat Kepala (lol), would take turns to conduct daily assemblies here.

Yeah, that's where we stand every morning and face hundreds of students down there lol.

Below the prefects' room, its the science lab, and above it, is the Upper Upper Hall, where we usually have our main exams.

Where I use to carry my heavily stuffed bag all the way from the prefects' room, along the Main Gallery, up this stairs and turn right all the way to the end, to get to my class.

Burns a lot of calories everyday =)

Yes, the stairs is filled with paint splashes and bird poop.

With the bright lights and all, it looks like the stairway to heaven.

They say, below the stairs, it used to be a part of the old teacher's room.

Behind this, is the Backfield, where it always belongs to the 8th Coy-ians.

This is also our favourite spot where Vinita and I and a couple of us used to sit here every morning before school starts...well that was yearsss ago though.

 

Canteen, Bio and Chemistry lab, Form 3 classes, library, and teachers room are all that direction.

Yeah, the prefects' room.

I know its in the most horrible-est state ever imagined. 

It's not much...but this is where it all began and half of my school memories were etched here in this room.

The floor..the cupboards, the shoe racks, the steel cabinet (which requires special skills to open, and not many has acquired that hahaha~), the cacated rostrum (which contains a copy of the almost-decayed paper of the Rukun Negara -in the end, Kausalia printed a new one and got it laminated once and for all LOL), the duty board, the old photo frames of previous boards, and this one particular item:

 

HAHAHA~~this brought back TONES OF MEMORIES~~

Our dear old ice-cream bell, which was spoilt and had the handle replaced by the blue thingy and the metal thing which makes it ring inside, is replaced by keys! HAHAHA~

This is one SUPER PATHETIC ice-cream bell.

And yet, it has been used by so many heads before this.

Every morning, at 7.15 and during recess, this bell would be rung through the PA system from the prefects' room.

Wow, this brings back soooo much memories!!!!

I miss those days a lot~

It's so precious, that I ran straight to the cupboard so that I could take a picture of it!

 

Imagining lots of students lining up here every morning...prefects getting people to line up. 

Me, asking prefects to get them line up, hurry up, settle down, wait for them to shut up, then let the girl on duty start singing the song, then the prefect on duty makes the announcements, then announce the class on litter duty for the day, and them dismiss them. 

Instead of continuously asking them to keep quiet, bla bla bla, I would prefer to just let them be, and eventually they'll shut up.

Why waste your breathe saying all those? And I'm sure they're sick of hearing the same words everyday too. Plus, you look like a fool up there, telling the same thing to people everyday, asking them to keep quiet =_=||

After assembly, everybody goes back to their own classes.

Sometimes, we have random spot checks, so yeah~

Those were the days...kinda stressed up but yet, memorable and FUN when I think of it.

It's nice to be able to delegate your duties, ask your subordinates to do things for you and you can just sit back and wait for the end results!

That's the part I like most about being the head. 

You don't have to lay a single finger on the messy work.

I just get the juniors to gao tim~

This is one thing I've learned, that is, knowing how to delegate your work properly- and to the right people.

Ok~ I sense that I'm getting carried away....lol

Well, if there was just one thing I could think about to blog of is my long long list of celebrity crushes.
Seriously, -If I'm going to spend another minute watching G-Dragon videos and drooling over his face & sexy collar bones (=_=||), I swear I can go mad. Well, like I said, once I like somebody, there's no end to it. HAHA~ And obviously, like every other girl, I'm no exception...I've had my teen days where there were many HUGE celebrity crushes~hahaha and they were hillarious when I think of it now.
I still remember my friend leaving comments in my autograph book (her name is Su Yenn) saying that I have long lists of crushes. "Today, he can be the no.1 in my list, and few moments later, his position will 'jatuh mendadak' to dunno number what..." LMAO~~

So, while I was thinking of GD just now, the idea of compiling all those people whom I've had a crush on popped up~ and, here goes...

It all started with the Dragon Love tvb series...I think I was in Std. 4 at that time~ was so captivated by the drama, although loads of ppl said the story was kinda stupid and the effects were very poor (which I agree). Then there was Journey To The West, Gods of Honour where he was 哪吒 which was my all time favourite LOL. 

I realised that I have the habit of giving most of the pictures a detailed description and does this mean I'm the type of person that pays attention to details and I have high potential in nagging? =_=

Haha, this guy here, Harry Potter~played by none other than Daniel Radcliffe was like oh my god~

LOL I was pretty much obsessed over this guy from primary school right till Form3 I guess...

The level of obsession was almost equivalent to GD's. Imagine- I actually handmade my very own Harry Potter scrapbook! LMAO~ It's impossible for those who know me, to not know how much I like Harry Potter. I read all their books, went online to search for every piece of information available, memorized every single latin spell and word/term created for this world of wizardry. My room was (still is) filled with Harry Potter posters. And I mean REALLY FILLED~ Not like I didn't wanna take em off, but it would leave a mark on the wall, so I just left it there.

Then there was this 5566~ LOL it all started with 'My MVP Valentine' and then there was their hit song~ 我難過 and then the rest was history~ The crazyness went on for about 3years I think...

At first I liked the leader, Sun Xie Zhi...then switched to Wang RenFu, the jovial, smiley face of the group lol. 

I even went all the way to KL just to see them promote this album (好久不见) and this was like a week or two away from PMR =_=|| 

I squeezed all the way through with my friend Jocelyn amongst the crowd of crazy fans screaming their names. I almost died in there..I still remembered, I didn't understand what the MC said in mandarin. We were not allowed to shake hands apparently, but I went all the way up there, and stuck my hand out, wanting to shake hands with the leader, and he JUST IGNORED ME~~ just like that~ and those security ppl ushered me away cos there were many people waiting behind me.

After that, my heart was like 'aduh~all jatuh berkecai adi~'

And that's not the worse part. I susah payah brought their CD to get it signed, and the stupid WARNER MUSIC (I'll rmb u till the day I die, and I'll nvr ever buy cds from u!) gave 5566 WHITEBOARD MARKERS to sign their autograph on the CD cover! WTF~ I accidentally had a part of it rubbed off. So I thought of going to line up and get it signed again, and I rubbed everything off clean. Before I had the chance to line up, they left.....

I was like $%^&* WTF!

Since then I didn't really like them, hahaha~

The fact that he IGNORED ME just made me so disappointed.

He's happily married to a pretty lady whose name I do not know...and they had their wedding in Hawaii where they first met. Super romantic~they broke apart for about 12yrs and JiWon went back to Korea do pursue his career...and they met again 12yrs later...until now~ <3

and of course...my current and Number 1 spot for almost a whole year now~
